SSC is organizing special recruitment drive for all the group ‘C’ post, to get upgraded to LDC (Lower Division Grade). Last date for applying is 12th Feb 2016. Refer Advt No. 3/2/2016-P&P-II. This job vacancy is not for those who are unemployed, permanent employees in the group ‘C’ post for at least three years can only apply. The exam will be conducted on 27th march 2016. The forms were opened on 22nd Jan 2016.

 

The candidates have to appear for written test. After selection they can be placed anywhere in India.

Job Details:

  • Post Name : Lower Division Grade (Group ‘C’ ) (LDCE – 2016)
  • Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200/-
  • Grade Pay : Rs. 1900/-

Eligibility Criteria for SSC Recruitment:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed 12th Standard examination from a recognized Board or equivalent before 1st Jan 2016. And any permanent or regularly appointed Group ‘C’ employee in the Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-. For atleast three years.
  • Nationality : Indian
  • Age Limit : 45 years as on 01.01.2016

Age of Relaxation:

  • SC & ST Category : 5 years

How to Apply for SSC Limited Department Vacancy: Interested candidates may apply in prescribed application form along with attested copy of 12th standard or equivalent certificate), two recent good quality, colored and identical photographs (4 cm. X 5 cm.) out of which one should be pasted on the application form and the other attached with the application and through the Head of his/her Department or Office concerned who will completely sign and stamp the application. Send to the Regional Director (NR), Staff Selection Commission, Block No. 12, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110504 on or before 12.02.2016 (5.00 PM) and 18.02.2016 (5.00 PM) for far areas.

Paper Pattern for the SSC Limited Department Exam

The paper pattern will basically be of two category First write Essay on any prescribed topic mentioned for 100 marks and Second Objective type on Grammar and GK, 50 marks each.
